Aldi Is Selling Christmas Gnocchi That Comes In Star And Tree Shapes

From House Beautiful

As if Aldi’s festive brioche loaves weren’t enough to enhance your holiday meals, the retailer is selling frozen bags of Christmas-inspired gnocchi. It’s even better than you can imagine and will surely be a hit at the dinner table.

The Christmas Gnocchi from Priano is made of tender potato and spinach and it comes in star and tree shapes. Fittingly, the trees are colored green by the spinach, and the stars are a typical off-white potato gnocchi color. On the packaging, the brand suggests trying the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and topping it with a bit of parmesan cheese. Each one-pound bag costs about $4 and can be found in the freezer aisle at Aldi.

Instagrammer @aldi.guru bought a bag of the Christmas Gnocchi and plans to add “marinara with a ton of cheese melted on top.” As with any gnocchi, you can’t go wrong with your choice of sauce and toppings—whether you want to add more green to it with pesto or prefer to bring in more white with Alfredo sauce. Plus, each bag makes more than one serving, so you can test out different combos.
