Aldi Is Selling Chic $7 Textured Planters That Are Similar to a Pottery Barn Style 7x The Price

If you have room for more planters on your deck or in your backyard, now is a good time to stock up on them. Retailers are starting to amp up their selection of pots and planters and there are a lot of trendy and cute styles out there, from Walmart to Target. Aldi is another store that has a new pot every week in their Aldi Finds section. And their upcoming decorative planter is sleek but still lovely and can fit in with any pots you already have. Plus it looks like styles from Wayfair and Pottery Barn that are several times the price.
In the Aldi Finds section from May 8 through May 14, the discount grocery store will sell a Belavi 8-inch decorative planter for only $6.99.

It comes in two styles, one with a bubble or beveled texture and the other has a ridged texture going from top to bottom. Both textured designs come in the colors Sugar Swizzle (a cream color) or Surf Spray (a light sage green).
Aldi’s site states that it’s “great for indoor or outdoor use” and they all have an 8.25-inch diameter and are 9 inches tall. Like other planters from Aldi, this one has a drainage hole so that you don’t overwater your plants and it has a nice sauce underneath to keep things clean.

While simple, these planters are still aesthetically pleasing and a darling addition to your garden. They also are a good deal considering the ridged planter looks similar to Pottery Barn’s Concrete Fluted Outdoor Planter. The small size, which is $49.50, is about the same size as Aldi’s, measuring 9.5 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter on top. It does taper down, measuring 6.3 inches in diameter on the bottom. As its name states, it’s made from hand-crafted concrete and has a drainage hole.

Wayfair also has a pot that looks similar to the bubble version of Aldi’s planter. They sell a Joss & Main pot called Brodie Ceramic Pot Planter. The smaller size—5 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter—is on sale for $30 at the moment and the two-pack option—one is 5.75 inches tall x 6 inches in diameter, one is 4.5 inches tall x 5 inches in diameter—is $42. It’s made of ceramic, has a glossy finish and has a drainage hole and saucer.

So if you’re trying to get more pots for planting this spring and you need several for an affordable price—or maybe you just want a simple planter that will last—Aldi’s Belavi 8 Inch Decorative Planter for only $6.99 is worth a try.
