Aldi Is Selling $10 Strappy Casual Sandals That Look So Similar to Tevas and They're Bound to Sell Out

Stockpiling sandals in the winter is a fun way to wish for spring and summer while you’re freezing your butt off. Just looking at a new pair of sandals is a fun way to try and remember what warm weather felt like. Lucky for you and your dreams of sandy beaches, Aldi is coming out with a casual strappy sandal that looks so much like Tevas that they’re not going to last on the shelves long.
Starting March 27 through April 2 (yes, April is already nearly here!), the Crane Men’s or Ladies Casual Sandal is coming to the Aldi Finds section that week. The budget German grocery store chain has done it again with these Teva lookalikes and they’re perfect for people who have wanted the brand-name sandals but haven’t caved just yet. And for $10, it’s worth the try.

The sandal is a casual style with a rubber or EVA material sole and adjustable straps that go around the ankle and connect to the strap around the toes. The straps are connected with plastic hardware and velcro holds them in place.
The sandals come in three colors: the ladies’ sandal comes in white and color block, while the men’s sandal comes in blue. The “white” color has a grey and dark blue zig-zag pattern on the straps and the blue one has navy blue and royal blue straps. The ladies’ sandals come in sizes 6-9 and the men’s comes in sizes 10-12.
The second color for the women’s sandal—color block—is the most like the original Tevas’s multi-color sandal. Aldi’s color-blocked sandals have a royal blue, orange strap, green and pink strap. The Tevas Women's Original Universal sandals have the same colors in a different order and with yellow. Plus Tevas are made with higher-quality materials: recycled “REPREVE” polyester yarn and EVA/rubber soles with a “peppermint-based anit order treatment.” But when they’re $55, Aldi’s $10 sandals are a pretty good deal.
