Aldi Has a New Pair of $13 Sneakers in Stores Now

International grocery store chain Aldi has released a new $13 sneaker for its U.S. market.

Two colorways of its new Gear sneaker hit select stores Wednesday across the country. The low-top bears some similarities to the Nike Air Force 1 Low through the lines of its upper and sole unit. The more colorful of the two versions mirrors those found in the company’s logo and is available for women in sizes 5 through 12. Men then get the more plain version, which appears predominantly in white with a navy outsole and branding and has a size run of 9 through 12.

Aldi first entered the sneaker game in 2021 soon after debuting an athleisure line. The grocery store chain launched a unisex Crane sneaker last August with a resemblance to the Gear sneaker and the same $13 price tag. In August, the grocery chain then followed up with a $9 Vans lookalike.

The Gear sneaker arrives as part of a larger spring collection that includes apparel and accessories for men, women and even pets — the latter of which a $6 sweatshirt has been made for. Everything is less than $15, from a windbreaker to joggers.

Aldi’s spring collection will be available in select stores through Tuesday, March 26.
