If you’ve ever shopped at Aldi, you know that each store is filled with beloved and reasonably priced items, including frozen pizzas, a variety of wine and cheese options, and even olive trees and other home decor finds. While there’s nothing like perusing the Aldi aisles in person in search of some fun and unique new products, there’s also something to be said for getting groceries delivered directly to your home. Though grocery delivery is often more expensive than shopping for your own items, it’s ideal for people who want to avoid crowds, those who are purchasing really heavy items that might be difficult to carry, and those who are sick or otherwise too busy to head to the grocery store themselves.

Luckily, Aldi (and other grocery stores) offers multiple delivery options so you can have your avocados and eggs brought to you without ever leaving your house. Keep reading for all of Aldi’s convenient delivery options.

Is Aldi on Instacart?

If you’re an Instacart user with a hankering for some groceries from Aldi, you’re in luck! Aldi is on Instacart and has had a partnership with the platform since 2017. This means you can use the app to select some of your favorite Aldi items and have them delivered straight to your door. “We are proud to offer grocery delivery nationwide through our partnership with Instacart. Nearly 98 percent of our more than 2,200 stores offer delivery to customers in more than 10,000 ZIP codes across the country,” the Aldi website states. “Visit new.aldi.us and enter your ZIP code to determine if your local store offers delivery.” Instacart users can enjoy $0 in delivery fees on orders of $35 or more.

Additionally, according to Instacart, users can get Aldi groceries delivered to them within 30 minutes by using a new feature called Aldi Express. Per a press release, Aldi Express is an “Instacart-powered virtual convenience store” that “gives customers access to nearly 2,000 of the most-shopped Aldi items, delivered in as fast as 30 minutes.” Not too shabby!

Is Aldi on DoorDash?

Not an Instacart user? No problem. Another way to get your Aldi groceries delivered is by using DoorDash. Aldi and DoorDash partnered in February 2023 to offer delivery across much of the country. The partnership covers nearly every Aldi location across 38 states, which means DoorDash users can expect same-day delivery from more than 2,100 stores. This includes delivery of wine, beer, and other alcoholic drinks.

“By partnering with DoorDash, we can conveniently bring our award-winning, fresh, and affordable groceries to even more of our customers’ doors with the click of a button,” Scott Patton, vice president of national buying at Aldi, said at the time. “Whether shopping for a weekly grocery haul or in need of a few extra ingredients for tonight’s dinner, our customers now have another way to shop Aldi for all their grocery needs.” For free delivery, DoorDash users simply need to buy $35 worth of groceries or more.

Aldi Grocery Delivery

If you’d rather not go through a third party app, you can order groceries for delivery directly through the Aldi website. To do so, simply create an Aldi account, pick the groceries you’d like, and place your order. You’ll then receive a text message with an estimated delivery time for your order. Just note that additional fees apply.

Aldi also offers curbside grocery pickup, though that convenient feature is not yet available at all Aldi locations.
