Anthropologie

If you follow decor trends—either casually or borderline obsessively—there’s a gilded mirror from Anthropologie that you've almost certainly seen before. Maybe you initially noticed it via a home influencer’s decor haul, a stylish friend’s mirror selfie on Instagram, or Shay Mitchell’s house tour. Perhaps you’ve even attempted to make your own with the help of TikTok DIY accounts and YouTube channels. Search “Anthropologie mirror dupe” on TikTok, and you’ll find a near-endless supply of tips for recreating it or buying it on the cheap.

The vintage-inspired Gleaming Primrose Mirror comes in four sizes and costs up to $1,598—quite over budget for many homeowners. If you’re looking to step up your mirror game but don’t want to drain your savings, Aldi has a solution: their very own version. Both gold mirrors feature similar elegant adornments along their apex, and the edges and have a similar arched shape.

As decision-making goes with nearly all decor dupes, there are some differences between the mirrors to keep in mind: The major one that leans in Aldi’s favor: The supermarket's Huntington Home Vintage-Style Mirror measures nearly 3 feet tall and rings up at just $50. In comparison, the Anthropologie 3-foot mirror (the smallest size) totals $548. That said, there are quality distinctions you should take into consideration: Anthropologie's mirror boasts “handcrafted resin, iron, engineered hardwood, [and] mirrored glass,” making it so “no two pieces are exactly alike.”

Of course, you can DIY your own dupe to ~mirror~ your space's aesthetic. But if you'd rather go the less time-consuming route and buy one, you’ll want to grab yours quickly. Some of the Anthropologie mirror sizes are already on backorder, and as with many Aldi finds, this one might not return once it leaves shelves.

Whichever mirror you choose, you have plenty of fun ways to style it in your home. Hang it in your entryway to draw people in as soon as they step in your home, or put it above your vanity for style and function. Add some florals on a shelf below it, or let it stand on its own as a focal point. Pair it with other vintage pieces you find while thrifting or add it to a modern-style room for an eclectic feel. Reminder: The larger Anthropologie varieties are designed as floor mirrors (not to be hung up) so leaning it against an empty wall is the safest way to create an aesthetic.

This isn’t the first beloved home item Aldi has offered at a much more cost-effective price point. Aldi also recently released its own version of the TikTok-famous Stanley Tumbler and Le Creuset dupes.
