Aldi’s “Amazing” $40 Gardening Gem Is Here Just in Time for Spring Planting
As any serious Aldi shopper will tell you, the retailer is so much more than a grocery store. And right now, Aldi is offering plenty of great deals on gardening supplies, like this $39.99 wooden potting bench with three shelves. It’s a perfect fit for aspiring backyard garden green thumbs and patio garden pros alike.
While Aldi’s website doesn’t list the product’s dimensions, a TikTok shared by @aldi.mademedoit shows that the bench measures 29.9×14.5×36.2 inches, and one commenter called the finds “amazing.”
If you’re a new gardener, a potting bench is a workbench for more casual gardening tasks, like transplanting seedlings and potting plants. Due to its height, gardeners can work while standing rather than hunched over, hence the name. But when you’re not propagating your spider plants or taking care of your mint plant, you can use your potting bench as a place to store all your gardening finds (like pots, watering cans, potting mix, and more) in one place.
Unfortunately, Aldi’s potting bench isn’t available on the Aldi new online shopping website, so you’ll have to head to your local store if you’re hoping to grab one for yourself.
You can find a similar potting bench on Amazon for $72.79.
