Alba Baptista Debuts Elegant Diamond Rings from Wedding to Chris Evans as She Steps Out in Portugal

PEOPLE confirmed Evans and Baptista had been dating "for over a year" in November 2022, and married in September

Alba Baptista is showing off her wedding rings for the first time.

On Saturday, the Portuguese actress, who tied the knot with actor Chris Evans back in September, attended the GQ Portugal Men of the Year event in Lisbon, Portugal, and revealed her new bling.

In clips captured on Baptista’s Instagram Story, the 26-year-old posed in a black Miu Miu mini dress as she held her hands together, flashing her large diamond engagement ring and wedding band.

Baptista also shared a carousel of photos from Saturday’s event on her Instagram grid, which was led by a snap of her holding on to a clutch bag. The post also featured the newlywed displaying her ring as she held onto a book, as well as posing alongside pal Justin Amorim.

Back in September, a source told PEOPLE that Baptista and Evans, 42, got married at a private estate in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Many celebrity friends such as Evans' Marvel costars Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan Downey; Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky; and Jeremy Renner; plus John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, were also spotted in nearby Boston for the ceremony.

Evans, who was confirmed to have been dating Baptista for "for over a year" in November 2022, opened up about married life in October, revealing that the couple also had a ceremony in Portugal.

“It’s a lot planning a wedding. For those of you who are married you know it takes a lot out of you,” the actor said at New York Comic Con 2023.

Added Evans, “But now that we're through that, we've just been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn, my favorite season. Now we're just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting.”

The Ghosted actor also revealed his wedding band as he displayed a big smile to the audience.

A source confirmed to PEOPLE in September that things between Evans and Baptista “got serious very quickly” after they first met in Europe: "He kept saying he knew she was the one."

"He has been ready to settle down for a while," the insider added. "He can’t wait to have a family. He was just waiting for the right girl."
