Now that the "finasco" that was Champagnegate has finally fizzled out, The Bachelor needs some new drama to focus on (because of course). And, on last Monday's episode, it came in the form of Alayah Benavidez and the classic debate of is or isn’t she here for the right reasons.

Peter sent Alayah home, but that's not the end of her journey or the great debate. The pillow fight champ returns to prove she is being "real" and that her feelings for Bachelor Peter Weber are genuine. You better believe Sydney Hightower, Victoria Paul, and a bunch of other women on team "she's not here for the right reasons," are not too happy to see Alayah around the mansion again.

ICYMI: At one point in last Monday's episode, Sydney straight-up asked Alayah if she has a job, seemingly referencing Alayah's pageant queen background and her on-camera claims about wanting to be a "pilot wife." Alayah then said she has "three jobs." That sounds... tough, especially if she had to take time off all of them to be on a reality TV show. But, from the quickness of her response, also sounds pretty real.

Here’s everything you need to know about Alayah Benavidez:

All that on-screen drama didn't get Alayah down.

I'm no aviation expert, but Alayah definitely hit some major turbulence in the mansion. Since then, Alayah has bounced back. She posted a smiling photo to Instagram and gave followers an update: "Hey mom, I’m doing just fine❤️#choosehappy." One of the other eliminated contestants, Avonlea commented: "I choose you bb 😘."

She has a pageant background.

Alayah talked about this a bit on Monday’s show and how much pageant life has influenced the way she presents herself to the world. But she's not talking about winning local competitions here: Alayah was Miss Texas in 2019 and went on to compete in the Miss USA pageant.

Get to know Alayah in her Miss USA video:

She and Victoria Paul competed in Miss USA 2019.

Victoria P. was Miss Louisiana the same year Alayah reigned as Miss Texas. The two pageant queens did know each other before moving into the mansion, as Alayah told Peter.

Alayah had a boyfriend right before she auditioned for The Bachelor.

This tea comes straight from Reality Steve. He shared screenshots from her account with her "pageant boyfriend," Sam Mader. Pageant boyfriend duties include carrying things around for her and cheering her on at Miss USA as part of the "Boyfriend Squad." Alayah reportedly broke up with him to go on the show.

Alayah wants to become an author.

At least, that’s the deal according to her Miss Universe bio, which also calls Alayah an "avid reader" who also wants to become a professor. She studied American literature at the University of Texas at San Antonio. So…maybe she’ll be an English teacher when all this is said and done?

For now, she’s an orthodontist assistant.

That’s her "official" job listed on The Bachelor. Her Bachelor profile also says that she makes official appearances as Miss Texas and enjoys "giving back to her community."

Alayah volunteers for multiple organizations.

According to her bio on Pageant Update, Alayah racks up the volunteer hours. She works with God’s Love We Deliver, Habitat for Humanity, the USO, and the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas.

Alayah also works as a model.

She's shared a few pics on her Instagram account of herself modeling outfits, including this wedding-themed one:

And Alayah co-owns a boutique.

Cut over to her Instagram profile, and the verified former Miss Texas reveals that she also owns Three Bees Boutique, a clothing store that says every purchase "helps fund literacy initiatives," along with her mom and sister.

That's three jobs, y'all! (Worth noting: Alayah's Instagram bio also says, "Traveler, Iced latte addict, Romantic❤️," which—depending how you look at things—might qualify as three jobs, too).
