His girlfriend, Raiven Adams—who is pregnant with the couple's first child—had been facing negativity online, prompting Bear to ask his followers to stop sending her rude messages. Soon after, he informed fans that he's "gonna be off Instagram for a little while."

Now, about a week after signing off the social platform, Bear has started sharing photos and videos again. The 31-year-old broke his silence with a selfie that featured a cryptic quote about dealing with controversy.

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy," the post reads.

Bear did not offer any further context to indicate what challenges he was referring to, but most fans assumed the message was about the drama surrounding his on-again, off-again relationship.
