Has your memaw perfected the art of the selfie? Does your pawpaw keep up with all the latest TikTok trends? Good for them, but Jack’s is searching for a new kind of social media influencer.

The Alabama-based restaurant chain is looking for people to nominate their “favorite Southern grandparents” to become “Granfluencers.”

“The folks who know us best don’t live for the social media likes,” the contest website explains. “They live for all the flavors life has to offer—in the real world. We call ‘em Granfluencers—and we’re searchin’ for the very best of ‘em.”

Jack’s will pick 10 grandparent/grandchild pairs to win free food for a year plus a $200 “swag pack.” Of those 10, one extra-special grandparent will be named the ultimate Granfluencer and the opportunity to be featured in a future Jack’s commercial.

There are two ways to nominate your grandparent. You can either share a post on Instagram with the hashtag #JacksGranfluencers and a caption that explains why they deserve to win, or by filling out the form on JacksGranfluencers.com/enter.

To qualify, aspiring Granfluencers must be 50 or older and live in Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, or Mississippi. The contest ends August 31. Winners will be announced on National Grandparents Day, September 13.
