Al Roker and Hoda Kotb Recreate 'Lady and the Tramp' Moment—Fans Have Mixed Reactions

Al Roker and Hoda Kotb got up close and personal on the Today show this week, as they shared a PayDay bar together, Lady and the Tramp style.

For reference, the iconic scene from the classic canine Disney film shows the two star pups dining in Italy when they accidentally begin eating the same piece of spaghetti, eventually meeting in the middle and sharing a kiss.

Roker and Kotb's version was definitely a little watered down, as the pair never really ended up meeting in the middle, but they did each go in for a bite at opposite ends of the same candy bar.

A video of the interaction, shared to the NBC show's official Instagram account, shows the intimate moment set to the very fitting tune of Dean Martin's "That's Amore."

While we know the "amore" between Roker, 68, and Kotb, 58, is all friendly, some of their fans didn't know how to feel about the clip, which naturally had a romantic vibe about it.

"Do I hear HR calling😮' one shocked fan wrote in the comments under the post, while another commenter just shared a series of sickly green face emojis, "🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢."

"That's interesting," someone else chimed in.

But the majority of Today show fans knew the segment was all in good fun, with many taking to the comments to show their love to the longtime pals.

"How I love you, Al and Hoda!❤️❤️" one fan wrote, while another added, "Gotta love these guys."

"This had me cracking up....such a goofball! Love AR," someone else wrote.
