Al Roker Gathers Family for Portrait to Celebrate Son's Big Birthday
Al Roker is celebrating his son Nick's 21st birthday!
The long-time Today weather forecaster took to Instagram to share a family snapshot of the newly-minted official adult along with his celebratory dinner crew.
Situated around the table at Nick's restaurant-of-choice, NYC's The Polo Bar, the group of five all turned their attention toward the camera, smiling for the photo in honor of the young man's milestone birthday.
Nick's mother and Roker's wife, ABC news anchor Deborah Roberts, was present in the captures, along with his older sister Leila Roker, 24, notable Polo Bar maître d' Nelly Moudime, and an additional guest.
"When we asked the #birthdayboy where he wanted to go for his #21st #birthday he didn’t hesitate: @thepolobar and the host with the most, @nellcan," Roker captioned the image.
Fans of the legendary weatherman poured in with celebratory wishes for his only son.
"Hope he had a nice celebration on his big 21st bd," one wrote, as another said the well-known spot was a "Great place to celebrate."
"Holy cow!!! 21!?!? Happy birthday 🎉🎁🎂," a third exclaimed in shock, while a fourth inquired, "Did he get a real mojito?!?," in part.
An additional Instagram user also approved of the famed eatery Nick picked for the occasion, adding, "Smart boy…..choosing the Polo Bar for your birthday celebration!"
People always seem to love seeing Roker's family content, often delighting in snippets he shares of his personal life.
As Parade previously reported, the 68-year-old recently became a first-time grandfather, as his oldest daughter Courtney Roker welcomed a baby boy on July 3.
