Al Roker is getting adventurous by tapping into his explorer side!

To celebrate the annual Queechy Lake Boat Parade in New York on July 1, the longtime meteorologist and his family set sail on an Indiana Jones-themed watercraft. The crew went all out for the occasion by dressing up like the famous archaeologist, complete with leather jackets, whips, and brimmed fedora hats.

Joining Al for the excursion was his wife Deborah Roberts and the couple's 20-year-old son, Nick.

Showcasing the holiday weekend adventure, the Today anchor took to Instagram to share footage with fans in the form of two videos, which were both appropriately set to the tune of the franchise's theme song "Raider's March" by John Williams.

In the snippets, the family of three can be seen in their boat out on the water as the morning show host steers, his son cracks his whip, and Roberts smiles for a few captures.

"Welcome to @indianajones and the Lake Crusade," Roker dubbed the ride in the caption of the July 3 social media upload.

"Nick must have the best memories ❤️," a third theorized, in part, as another campaigned for him to join the cast, writing: "Nick is my choice for the next Indiana Jones."
