Al Roker Celebrates 2 Months With His Granddaughter With Adorable New Photos
Al Roker is giving another look at his adorable granddaughter Clara Sky in a pair of sweet new snaps.
The Today Show meteorologist celebrated the little one turning two months old with a couple of photos on Instagram, showing him spending quality time with the infant.
In the first picture, the 69-year-old smiled while her held the baby facing him, seemingly talking to the tot. In the other, the child was captured taking a nap on her grandpa's belly as he reclined in a chair in the backyard.
Roker captioned the collection, "Here's to my little Sky Clara being here 2 months. That went fast."
His wife Deborah Roberts showed her love for the cute pictures in the comments with emojis, writing, "💝💝💝💝💝💝💝," while Roker's Today show colleaguess Bobbie Thomas and Jill Martin also reacted, the former adding more emojis, "😍🥰😍🥰," and the latter writing, "Hiiii skyeeeeeee."
Additionally, his fans shared their reactions to the glimpse at the TV personality's granddaughter. "Awwwww Grandpa and granddaughter overload on cuteness," one wrote.
"Awe so precious," gushed another fan.
Someone else wrote, "She is gorgeous and they are a blessing from God. Congratulations on your first grandbaby.🙏🏽❤️❤️🍼."
Roker's daughter Courtney shares Clara with husband Wesley Laga. They welcomed the child on July 3.
When Clara was born, the TV personality opened up to his Today co-anchors on air about the joy of being a grandparent.
"It is magical, it really is," he said. "The thing is, everyone tells you it's going to be 'this thing' and you don't know; it's like when they tell you about having your first child. And then to hold this little girl, knowing almost 35 years ago I held her mom? And here she is, 5 lbs., 15 oz. 19 inches long and she's just perfect."
