Al Pacino and his girlfriend Noor Alfallah have welcomed their first child together.

A representative for the couple announced the happy news, as well as the newborn's name, in a statement on June 15, telling the Daily Mail: "I am confirming that Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah have welcomed a son, named Roman Pacino."

The baby's arrival makes Pacino a father of four, as he also has a 33-year-old daughter, Julie Marie, with acting coach Jan Tarrant, and 22-year-old twins, Anton and Olivia, with actress Beverly D 'Angelo.

The Scarface actor addressed Alfallah's pregnancy for the first time earlier this month in a video obtained by the Daily Mail.

"It's very special," he said when asked by a photographer if he was "excited" to be welcoming another baby. "It always has been. I've got many kids. But this is really special coming at this time."

Alfallah also works in the film industry and is an executive producer on Pacino's upcoming movie Billy Knight.

The indie drama follows grad school students Alex (Stranger Things'Charlie Heaton) and Emily (Booksmart's Diana Silvers), who dream of becoming filmmakers. At the same time, Alex is grappling with the death of his failed screenwriter father (Pacino).

"Billy Knight is a love letter to cinema, a fantasy steeped in the history of this great art form. It’s also the tale of two struggling artists, an introspective struggle of a young man trying to find his voice and discovering what’s important in life," said Alec Griffen Roth, who wrote and directed the film. "Having the incomparable Al Pacino and the incredible talents Charlie Heaton and Diana Silvers in the film is a dream come true."

Billy Knight is yet to confirm a release date.
