Commercial air carriers serve Las Vegas, Nevada, Phoenix and Flagstaff, Arizona. The closest hubs for national and international flights are Phoenix Sky Harbor and Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport.

The closest regional airport is Flagstaff Airport, which offers commuter flights to and from Phoenix, Dallas/Fort Worth and Denver on American and United. There is an airport in Tusayan at the Grand Canyon’s South Entrance, but it mainly serves chartered flights.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is the main airport serving the Greater Phoenix area. It serves approximately 40 million passengers a year making it one of the 10 busiest airports in the nation.

You’ll find flights in and out of Sky Harbor from most major U.S. carriers including Alaska, American, Delta, Southwest and United.

Sky Harbor is approximately 230-miles to the Grand Canyon Village at the South Rim. Plan for a 3.5 hour drive from the airport.

This is the main commercial airport for Las Vegas, Nev., and was formerly called McCarran International Airport. It is about 5 miles south of downtown Las Vegas, in the unincorporated area of Paradise in Clark County.

Many major airlines operate flights out of this airport including American, Delta, Southwest and United.

Harry Reid is approximately 275-miles to the Grand Canyon Village at the South Rim. Plan for a 4 hour drive from the airport.

Salt Lake City International Airport is a civil-military airport about 4 miles west of Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. It serves as a major hub for Delta Air Lines and many other major airlines operate flights out of this airport including Air Canada, American, Frontier, Southwest and Untied.

Salt Lake City International is approximately 550 miles to the Grand Canyon Village at the South Rim. Plan for a 9 hour drive from the airport. It is approximately 350 miles from the Grand Canyon’s North Rim. Plan for a 6 hour drive from the airport.
