Jordan Brand will reportedly release an Air Jordan 12 Low iteration that’s linked to Super Bowl 55.

Sneaker leak Instagram account @zSneakerheadz shared images of an iconic Michael Jordan signature basketball model in a “Super Bowl” make-up. The style sports the iconic “Playoff” colorway famously worn by MJ during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals when he battled food poisoning. (The baller still managed to score 38 points in a nail-biting 90-88 victory to give the Chicago Bulls a 3-2 series lead.)

The look is executed with a black suede upper that’s coupled with a red leather mudguard and gold details at the midfoot and eye stay. Connecting this shoe to Super Bowl 55 is the celebratory confetti graphic on the sock liner and the numbers “813” embroidered on the heel’s pull tab, which represents the Tampa, Fla., area code where the game will be played next month. The images also show the accompanying shoebox donning the aforementioned confetti graphics on the sides.

According to @zSneakerheadz, the Air Jordan 12 Low “Super Bowl” will be released on Feb. 6 and will be available in men’s ($190) and grade school sizing ($140). However, at the time of publication, Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed when, or if, the sneaker is releasing.

In related Air Jordan news, images of next month’s Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” release have surfaced. The style originally released in 1991 and it features a white and red color scheme on the upper combined with black accents throughout the model. The pair also includes Nike Air branding on the heel that’s identical to the ’91 launch.
