The Air Jordan 1 High Sneaker Will Release in a New Black and White Colorway in February
The Air Jordan 1 High will release in February in a colorway that’s both new and familiar.
Dressed in new arrangement of black and white, which often draws the “Panda” nickname, the classic sneaker takes its cues from the original “Bred” arrangement. Black suede forms the majority of the upper, save for a white leather toe, Swoosh, heel, and strap. The midsole also appears in white, while the outsole rounds out the shoe in black.

This all-new, mixed-material Air Jordan 1 is essentially the inverse of a white and black Air Jordan 1 that made its debut in 2014 and released again last year. Its color-blocking is only mirrored by that of a a Jordan 1 High FlyEase that dropped as a grade school-exclusive in 2021.
The arrival of this Air Jordan 1 comes after years of popularity for the Dunk Low and Dunk High in a similar “Panda” colorway that’s rereleased on a number of occasions. It’s also one of several new Air Jordan 1 Highs arriving early in the year, following the “Ochre” variant that just dropped, a women’s-exclusive “Metallic Gold” colorway slated for Feb. 14, and a “Metallic Burgundy” version that plays on the original “Metallic Red” scheduled for Feb. 16.
Given a streak of other Air Jordan 1 releases that have sat on shelves and even gone on sale, it’s very well possible that this new variant won’t be very difficult to acquire.
The Air Jordan 1 in “Black and White” will release Feb. 24 through the SNKRS app and additional third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $180.
