'AGT' Star Julianne Hough Perfectly Responds to Her Critics During Judge Cuts

• America's Got Talent season 14 judge Julianne Hough shut down her hair critics last night with a bunch of photos.

• The AGT judge's hair became a hot topic on #AGT Twitter when she chose to wear a bombshell blonde wig for the second night of judge cuts.

• AGT is airing their judge cuts episodes throughout July. Those put through will compete in the quarterfinalist live shows, which start next month.

You can hurl insults at America's Got Talent judge Julianne Hough all you want ... but if last night proved anything, it's that the haters can't get to her.

Within the first few seconds of the latest AGT judge cuts episode of season 14, tweets started rolling in about Julianne's hairstyle. When the 31-year-old decided to mix it up last night and opt for a voluminous '80s-style wig, apparently it was too much for some AGT fans to handle.

"I always LOVE your hairstyles.. but please don't ever put this wig back on your head," one fan wrote. "I don't know if that's a wig, but it looks like a style only achieved by walking through a car wash ... this looks across between a mop & a poodle; eeek!" another remarked. Some went as far as to call it "the worst wig" they've seen in a long time.

Instead of condemning the trolls though, Julianne decided to laugh along with them. During last night's show, the former Dancing With the Stars coach took to social media to post photo comparisons of her look to everything from a cabbage patch doll and Dolly Parton to Frank Reynolds from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Given how quickly Julianne posted the pictures, it's safe to assume that she had anticipated her style would cause an uproar and had the photos ready to go before last night's pre-recorded episode. Clever thinking, if you ask us.

Regardless of the internet's opinions though, what's most important is that Julianne seemed to be feeling her look. Before the show, she posted an Instagram of herself wearing her wig and brilliantly captioned it, "I think we'll call this look, Slay-G-T."

The question is: Will Julianne resurrect the famous wig for next week's judge cuts episode? At the moment, it doesn't look like it. Photos from the next two weeks of judge cuts, where Jay Leno and Ellie Kemper will play the role of guest judge, show Julianne with her signature bob look.

In other words, the internet can get back to focusing on what actually matters ... like, you know, the fact that seven more acts – V. Unbeatable, Dom Chambers, GFORCE, Robert Finley, Bir Khalsa, Ryan Niemiller and Alex Dowis — were put through to the quarterfinals last night. Now that's a big deal worth tweeting about.
