An 'AGT' Shocker! Find Out Who Went Home on ‘America’s Got Talent’ on Results Night Four and Who Made the Finale!

With so many acts on night four of the Live Shows having had difficulties in winning over the judges, the results show took on even more importance than normal to see if America agreed with judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara, who had given out tougher than normal critiques to the acts.

The 11 acts that performed on Tuesday night were Acapop!, Bayley Graham, Harper, Jack Williams, Jannick Holste, The Lazy Generation, Lee Collinson, Lily Meola, Merissa Beddows, Metaphysic, and Mike E Winfield.

This week’s winners will join Avery Dixon, Chapel Hart, Drake Milligan, Nicolas RIBS, Sara James, and Yu Hojin, the six acts that have made it through to date, in the finale as they compete for the $1 million and a chance to headline “America’s Got Talent Las Vegas LIVE” at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Here’s how the night went down:

The show opened with a dance routine by the Irish troupe Riverdance and then moved on to the usual recap of performances from the previous night.

The first result of the night announced by host Terry Crews was between Merissa Beddows and Bayley Graham. Merissa made it to the Top 5 and Bayley was out.

Called up next were Acapop! and Metaphysic. There was no surprise here when Metaphysic was revealed as still being in the competition, especially since they promised to do a prominent rock classic if they perform in the finale.

Then the results continued to roll out with the reveal that Jack Williams made the Top 5, while The Lazy Generation and Harper were heading home.

Also revealed to be safe was Lily Meola, which meant that Jannick Holste was eliminated.

The final act making it into the Top 5 was Mike E Winfield, ending Lee Collinson’s AGT dreams.

Simon commented on the results saying, “Every week in my opinion so far, America has put through the right Top 5.”

There was a break from results with a return visit from Piff the Magic Dragon with his unique blend of comedy and magic.

Then, the real business of the night got underway when the Top 5 was cut to the Top 3 on the way to revealing who was going through. The Top 3 were Mike E Winfield, Lily Meola, and Metaphysic.

“Congratulations for making it this far,” Heidi said. “As far as I am concerned you are all winners, but I am going to be really sad to see who doesn’t make it.”

The Top 2 finalists were Metaphysic and it was a shocker when Mike E Winfield went through rather than Lily Meola, so Heidi had reason to be doubly sorry because Lily was her Golden Buzzer.

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
