  • Courteney Cox just posted a bikini Instagram video showing off her toned abs and legs.

  • The 55-year-old actress made a reverse video set to Missy Elliot's "Work It."

  • Courteney's all about being "as natural" as she can be, eating right and training hard to maintain her fit body.

There's still a month left to enjoy the sun and sand this season, but Courteney Cox may have already posted the best summer 2019 video of all time. Wearing a black bikini, the Friends and Cougar Town actress looks amazing in her latest poolside Instagram video. Seriously, her abs look insane!

The 55-year-old created a gravity-defying video that shows her basically stepping out of the pool from a big splash, before throwing on sunglasses and a cover-up, then grabbing a yummy drink—all in reverse. The whole thing is like an optical illusion that's pretty much bound to make you wonder how she pulled it off.

Well, the video clip's soundtrack—Missy Elliott's "Work It"—provides a bit of a hint. "Oh so now I finally get what @missymisdemeanorelliott meant by put your thing down, flip it, and reverse it....only took me ten years," Courteney captioned the video.

And her famous friends are LOVING it. For starters, Kaley Cuoco commented, "This is epic." Next, Busy Phillips chimed in: "This is great. <3". Not to be outdone, Isla Fisher left her three "flame" emojis.

Alison Janney also commented, "I don't understand how cool you are." Erin Foster added, "I don’t know what’s cooler, this video or how good your body looks." And finally, Sarah Paulson wrote that she watched her video "18 times." (Same, ladies, same.)

In 2017, Cox opened up about having all of her facial fillers removed, and in 2016, she revealed that she regrets her plastic surgery. Her new beauty motto was to "just let it be" and look "as natural" as she can, though the star still takes care of herself so she can look better than ever at 55.

Cox told New Beauty that she eats chicken salad for lunch and a lean protein, such as fish, chicken, or steak, paired with veggies for dinner. Still, she added, "I do cheat, on occasion, with pasta or bread and butter." She also said that she eats a lot of cheese and nuts.

On the exercise front, Courteney's trainer, Michelle Lovitt, helped her get in shape for Cougar Town by targeting her legs and thighs, which, she said contributes to maximum weight loss. "Increasing strength in your lower body increases lean body mass, which raises your metabolism and helps your body burn calories at a higher rate, even at rest," Lovitt told Shape. "So the most important thing you want to do for lean legs is strength train them by lifting weights that will cause your muscles to fatigue after 10 to 15 repetitions."

Both in and out of the pool, Cox looks strong and fit—and absolutely ready to live it up this summer.
