Against My Better Judgment, Here‘s Tyler Cameron and Gigi Hadid‘s Relationship Timeline Before They Split
Fact: The poor traumatized rejects of Bachelor Nation typically date in their own circle after being discarded from the polyamorous love shack that is The Bachelorette. Some of them go on Bachelor in Paradise. Some of them connect with a lost soul from The Bachelor. And some of them just weep softly into a rosebush. But not Tyler Cameron. In a move truly no one could have anticipated, Tyler managed to bridge the gap between reality stardom and being actually relevant (shade, sorry) by dating none other than Gigi Hadid.
When the news first broke, you probably assumed it was just a hookup—how could Tyler, a Bachelorette contestant, date Gigi Hadid, a supermodel?! WHAT IS LIFE. But in case you hadn’t noticed, we live in a country where reality stars can become president, so like...aim high, Tyler! Anyway, since Tigi was a bona fide thing for a whole two months before they broke up, let’s get deep in the timeline weeds of their former relationship because it was—and I can’t stress this enough—messy.

While he doesn’t attend the show with them, he does meet up with Gigi and Taylor Swift at the after-party, which is very casual.
They spend the night hanging out at the Fleur Room in New York City, and it’s all hugs and kisses. “Taylor greeted him with a big hug. Tyler and Gigi shared a kiss,” a source told E! News.

A new report comes out that Tyler and Gigi are pretty much still in the early stages of dating. I mean, it kinda doesn’t feel like it but...okay! According to a People source, Tyler and Gigi are “still just getting to know each other and [having] fun.” The source also says that “They don’t want that pressure to push them further than where they are.” How interesting, right?
In addition to that ~juicy~ information, the source says, “The media attention has been hard on Tyler and Gigi....They’re trying to navigate it right now because they know how the press can pick apart every date they have and turn it into something bigger.” It makes sense, considering that the paps literally follow them everywhere they go.
To downplay where they stand with one another, Tyler and Gigi are being “purposefully coy” about their relationship status. So that explains why they’re never really seen together!! Secrecy aside, Tyler and Gigi’s little rendezvous do hold weight in their eyes. “Their dates are definitely real and [Tyler is] having a good time,” the source adds.

Literally less than 24 hours later, a new report comes out and says that Gigi is helping Tyler look for apartments in her neighborhood in New York City. Uh....what??? I honestly thought they weren’t that serious yet, but like any romance, things are a *little* more complicated than they seem.
"Tyler has been looking at apartments that are in the same area as Gigi’s in NYC," a source told E! News. "She suggested a few to him, and he wants to be nearby. They are getting pretty serious, and it’s not slowing down. They text all day every day and see each other multiple times a week."
As serious as moving into the same neighborhood as your partner sounds, Tyler and Gigi are a different story. Despite hanging out with each other all summer (as evidenced by this timeline), they aren’t officially official yet. So sorry, no boyfriend of girlfriend labels here! “They both are very into each other and are having a lot of fun together,” the source said. “They haven’t had any official talk yet, but [they] aren’t dating other people.”
More than anything, Tyler and Gigi are reportedly still trying to take things one step at a time before thinking too much about what comes next. “They aren’t talking about the future or what any of this could become, they are just going with it,” the source added. “But he loves being with her and they are really clicking.”

Tyler finally speaks out about hanging out with Gigi...and he says they’re “just friends.” 😭
He elaborated during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “We’re just friends,” he said. “I mean...that’s just where we’re at. Our relationship doesn’t need to be public. She’s good people, she’s an amazing person, and we’re just keeping it friendly.”
So they’re “just friends,” but he refers to “our relationship”? Tyler, what’s the truth??
In the same interview, Tyler also low-key slips up and calls Gigi his girlfriend. Allow me to explain: When the interviewer asked Tyler if his dating life has anything to do with why he can't be the next Bachelor, he said “Yeah, you shouldn’t go on the show if you have a girlfriend.” It sounds like Tyler confirmed their relationship for a hot sec, right? Wrong.
“No, I wasn’t saying that, but if you’re dating somebody or seeing somebody,” Tyler added. “My heart wasn’t 100 percent there and that’s something you have to be fully invested in. I was on the other side of it as a contestant and it was a much easier role.” Nice save, but not nice enough to convince me (and everyone else) they're not dating.

Tyler makes the big move and gets his New York City apartment. It’s pretty important to note that Tyler did *not* move to Gigi’s exact part of town—shocker! Instead, Tyler is now living on the Lower East Side, which is technically like, 15 minutes max away from wherever Gigi lives by car. Tyler’s bachelor pad (get it??) has a stunning view and overlooks the entire city, which he documented on his Instagram. Hope Gigi likes a room with a view!

Guys...did Tyler Cameron and Gigi Hadid break up? Tyler is maybe single right now, as in, he literally says he “may be” single. Tyler visits Watch What Happens Live, and Jenny McCarthy asks if he’s available, to which he replies: “I may be single.”
Are he and Gigi just covering their tracks? Are they over? It’s super unclear, TBH.

Reports just came out saying Gigi and Tyler are OVER over and broke up officially. :(
E! News confirmed the couple's split and so did Us Weekly sources. “Tyler is single,” a source told Us Weekly. “He and Gigi Hadid are no longer together.”
Welp. That's that, I guess.
