Shields’ recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen had everyone talking about her stunning hair—and the products she used to achieve that perfectly tousled look. In an Instagram story posted by her hairstylist Tim Nolan, Shields revealed she used Serge Normant Dream Big Instant Volumizing Spray, according to People.
If the product sounds familiar, it’s probably because it’s also the one behind Meghan Markle’s look for her iconic Time cover back in September. And it’s the spray actress Sarah Jessica Parker has touted time and time again. It’s clear from every photo from Shields’ television appearance that her hair not only looks flawless, lifted, and extra thick, but it also stays in place (no pesky flyaways here!).
In a previous video sampling the product, celebrity hairstylist Serge Normant shows the hair spray to Sarah Jessica Parker. He explains that it works well to give texture to thinner, limp hair and helps anchor hair in place.
“I was really in love with Serge’s dry shampoo and I really thought he was kind of taking something away from me when we started using this,” Parker said in the video. “But what’s really amazing and I think really more helpful for people at home is that it absorbs a lot. It doesn’t leave as much as a dry shampoo. It’s like a volumizer slash dry shampoo, so it does a lot of work without the weight.”
According to the brand, the hairspray works to volumize and strengthen hair without any heaviness, making it ideal for thin hair.
