Adwoa Aboah Proves the Power of a Little Lip Gloss at Molly Goddard

Thus far in fashion month, the beauty lean has been toward individuality that packs a punch. Hair texture is natural, with added volume or an exaggerated part, eye shadow is applied outside the lines, and Euphoria's infinitely extra makeup is pretty much omnipresent. But amid a sea of idiosyncratic looks, sometimes subtlety reigns supreme. Case in point: Adwoa Aboah, who turned heads at Molly Goddard this morning with a simple swipe of lip gloss.

The model's look began with a Goddard dress defined by its varied silhouette and bubblegum hue, a color which traveled upward for a coordinated makeup moment. Aboah's complexion was refreshingly unadorned, save for a coat of pink lip gloss, which conspired with her lit-from-within skin and selection of gold and silver earrings to catch light in an easy ethereal manner. A touch of balm at lid-level offered Aboah's gaze an extra ounce of effulgence, as well, but it was her petal-pink pout that pulled primary focus. It seems the new basically bare-faced menu includes no makeup—save for a glassy lip.
