Advance Denim Continues Global Expansion with New Los Angeles Showroom

Carrying out its commitment to better serve its global clientele, Advance Denim has strategically positioned itself by establishing showrooms in key denim hubs worldwide.

This initiative began with the inauguration of its first showroom in Amsterdam in 2014, leveraging the city’s status as Europe’s denim capital. Following its success in the Netherlands, Advance Denim extended its reach by launching a second showroom in New York in 2018, which has since served as the cornerstone for its expansion into the U.S. and Canadian markets over the past six years.

Continuing its growth trajectory, the denim mill is now further solidifying its presence in the U.S. with its latest showroom located in Los Angeles.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our second showroom in the United States, catering to our growing customer base on the West Coast,” said Mark Ix, director of North American marketing at Advance Denim. “This showroom, launched earlier this year, will be centrally located in downtown Los Angeles—situated at 1308 Factory Place, Suite 301, in the heart of the vibrant arts district—home to numerous startups, artists and creators. Like all our showrooms globally, it was imperative to create a space that harmonizes with the local community’s atmosphere while showcasing the innovative advancements from our production facilities in China and Vietnam.”

To efficiently curate and manage its evolving array of styles, Advance Denim signed on Bryan Hoyos as its director of marketing. With over a decade of experience in the L.A. market, Hoyos is also a second-generation denim executive. He recently shared his insights as a key speaker at the Intertextile Shanghai show, delving into the nuances of the L.A. denim market.

Additionally, in celebration of the L.A. showroom’s opening, Advance Denim has partnered with Heroes ATX, a Texas-based brand that handcrafts denim and leather accessories, to produce a limited edition of “unique denim bags” crafted from deadstock and old samples.

“Our commitment extends beyond creating innovative and sustainable denim; we are dedicated to investing in the denim communities we serve globally, equipping our customers with the tools they need to succeed,” Ix said. “Whether in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Amsterdam, New York or Los Angeles, our creative spaces provide designers with proximity to the vast opportunities offered by Advance Denim.”
