Adrienne Bailon Shares Her Son Ever’s Hilarious Reaction to Waking up in a New Place

On Dec 5, the I’m In Love With A Church Girl star shared a series of photos to her Instagram with the caption reading, “Being a baby must be traumatizing at times. Imagine going to sleep in your house & you wake up in a restaurant in SoHo. lol.”
In the first two photos, we see her son Ever James in his stroller, looking wide-eyed and confused as ever with the scenery change (which Bailon addressed by commenting, “That boy opened his eyes like… where am I?! lol”).
Then we see Bailon looking as fierce as ever, while holding her son’s hand, then we see a few chic photos of Bailon and Ever in his stroller, going through bookstores and streets of Soho! Forever the chicest mother-son duo, and we love the mixture of elegance and hilarity in this post!
Bailon and musician Israel Houghton got engaged on August 12, 2016 after they got together in Feb of that year. When they married later in 2016, Bailon became the stepmother to his six children. However, in Aug 2022, they welcomed a son together via surrogacy named Ever James.
In a previous interview with BET, the Cheetah Girls alum shared that welcoming their son via surrogacy wasn’t what she imagined, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. “The journey is not the way I thought it would be. I obviously never thought that it would have a child through a surrogate. I always imagined that I’d be pregnant with beautiful maternity photos and all those things,” she said. “And while I thought that [surrogacy] would take away from my journey as a mother, the moment I held my son, I knew I would not change a thing about how we got here!”
