Adriana Lima Wants to Walk the Victoria Secret Runway Until She's 40

<p><strong>What do you do in the lead-up to prepare for the show? </strong></p><p>I love workouts. From last year's fashion show I did not stop working out―I do as much as I can. It's something that's part of my life and my routine. I take it very seriously. </p>

<p><strong>This will be your 16th year walking! How does that make you feel?</strong></p><p>I feel very proud of myself because I know how much it means to me to be part of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. I'm very passionate about it from the minute I go to the fitting to when I walk in the show, I give it my all, even before I arrive there, with the workouts that I do almost every day.</p>

<p>I remember watching the fashion show when I started modeling and it's every girl's, every model's dream to be part of it. All the biggest super models have been part of the show and I never thought I'd be part of it. </p>

<p>To still be here after 16 years, I cannot explain how happy I am right now. There are no words.</p>

<p><strong>As the longest working Angel, what advice would you give to the models walking in the show for the first time? </strong></p><p>Enjoy yourself, have fun. It's a different fashion show from everything you've seen. It's really a performance of musicians, models, dancers―many characters are being played like a little story. So enjoy, because you are one of a few here and it's a dream, literally.</p>

<p><strong>You've said you want to be walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show when you're 40. (Lima is 35.)</strong></p><p>For my part, I would do everything to be here until 40— yes I do, and I will!</p>

<p>Even if I wasn't a model I would still work out every day because I want to live long. I want to be doing the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show until I'm 40 and I want to live past 100. I will do it.</p>

<p><strong>Do you change up your routine at all before the show?</strong></p><p>I make sure that I get a lot of sleep, that I work out, that my kids are healthy and happy, and I'm happy.</p>

<p><strong>Are there any standout moments from your 15 years of walking in the show?</strong></p><p>The big turn for me was 1999 because that's when my dream came true and I got to do the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and then when I opened the show for the first time in 2000.</p>
