Adorably Exhausted Service Dog Steals Dad's Spot in Bed During Hospital Stay

He was tired after a long day of helping his dad.

Magnus the Labrador Retriever is the definition of a good boy. Not only is he fantastically behaved and a social media star, but he's his dad's service dog too! All of these accolades can take a toll on a pup, though, and sometimes he needs a nap just as much as his dad, Brian, does.

Honestly, we get it! Watching out for someone is tough enough on its own, but wait until you see how @magnusthetherapydog took a break while he was staying with Brian in the hospital one night!

Aww, Magnus! This is such a sweet, innocent thing for him to do. It just warms our hearts! We definitely weren't surprised to see so many loving comments on this video, but we were surprised to get a laugh out of one of them.

"Man I thought it was Magnus being hospitalized…anyway it’s you so it’s fine now," wrote @youarenothinghawk. LMAO! We totally understand the relief of learning that Magnus is A-OK, but in all seriousness--we hope Brian is doing well also! Hospital visits are never easy, but we're so glad Magnus (and that dino Squishmallow) were there to help.

"Are they allowing him to stay with you?" @wave_lu asked. "That's amazing." Isn't it? Since Magnus is his service dog, he's able to stay with him during his hospital stay--thoguh it seems like Brian isn't the only one benefiting!

@Tbells74 said, "The nurses must be so happy to have Magnus there". He could brighten any scene! If this video isn't perfect proof of that, we don't know what is.

Speedy recovery, Brian!
