Adorable Rescue Dog in Turks & Caicos Who Meets Tourists Daily Is Still Looking For His True Home
Going on vacation can be super relaxing or totally adventurous, but one pup living in Turks & Caicos has seen it all. He's met tourists from all over the world, but he's yet to meet the perfect person to bring him home.
Sunny is one of the sweet dogs living with Potcake Place Canine Rescue in the Turks & Caicos Islands, and he's no stranger to, well--strangers! He gets to go on walks with new people each day, though no one has put in an application for his adoption. Nevertheless, this sunny boy is holding out hope!

Isn't he precious? This shelter puppy is as sweet as can be in his caretaker's arms, so just imagine how adorable he'll look snuggled up on the sofa in a forever home! For now, though, he's getting tons of love from his friends at the rescue and in his foster home.

Potcake Place is a rescue that focuses on finding loving homes for the many stray potcake dogs living on the islands. In fact--there is no animal rescue on Turks & Caicos! This nonprofit is the only system protecting the stray dog population on the islands, though they also offer adorable puppy experiences to encourage tourists to adopt!
Sunny and many other rescue puppies meet tourists 6 days a week through the organization's puppy walks program. Vacationers get to walk with an adoptable puppy on a beautiful Caribbean beach, and the pups get some much-needed socialization. Not to mention how many adoptions result from this program!
