This Adorable Cookie Monster Cake Is Actually A Giant Pile Of Cookies

From Delish

The first thing that strikes you about Schmackary's is that they are not fooling around when it comes to theming (their theme, BTW, is cookies). You walk in, there are cookies on the walls, in display cases, in the air. Cookies are the basis of their "cookie cakes," which are not one big, flat cookie as you might be used to, but instead a tall pile of five cookies that are frosted and smoothed and made to look like a whole damn cake.

So! That brings me to Cookie Monster. He is not, in fact, a perfectly frosted, singularly towered treat. He is the product of vanilla frosting, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate frosting, more cookies, more frosting, more frosting, cookie dust, white chocolate, and another cookie. And, you know, a lot of love and attention and care.

Anyway. Each "cake" yield about five slices, and when you get through a slice, you'll feel like you've eaten about five cookies. In, like, a contentedly-full-what-did-I-just-do way. If Cookie Monster isn't your jam, the bakery has begun making the cakes in all sorts of lovely and gorgeous pairings, each one cuter than the next and rife with all sorts of Instagram possibilities, of course.
