Dog owners are all too familiar with zoomies, but we don't often stop and think about zoomies in other species. Hamsters, for example, are known for nocturnal bursts of energy and running on their exercise wheel. Even birds can get the zoomies when feeling energized!
It's true--@chickenhappyhour posted the most joyful video of chicken zoomies, and our lives will never be the same. The TikTok account features Frankie the rooster and his flock of glorious hens, but nothing they've posted has ever topped this masterpiece.

LMAO! Watching a single 'chicken run' (remember that movie?) had us smiling from ear to ear, but we nearly burst out laughing when we saw the whole flock sprinting toward the camera. What in the world could they have been running toward?
"The end with all of them running would be perfect with the jaws theme," commented viewer @christianalexcas. LOL! We can already imagine how dramatic that would be paired with a slowed-down version of the group video!
Despite their fluffy appearance, chickens are known to be fast runners. This trait helps them evade predators in the wild (and sometimes in the farm), though it can be frustrating for anyone who needs to catch their pet chicken! Luckily, these birds can only run fast in short bursts, so you'll be able to corner them eventually.
