Adoptable pet: Meet Skylar

Hi – I’m Skylar! (A193803). I was surrendered to the shelter because my owner was left without a place to live. She said that I am active, independent, talkative, playful and friendly. I have lived with both cats and other dogs, weigh only 46 pounds and my favorite toy is a rope bone.

I know my basic commands and I am both housetrained and crate trained. I would do best in a home without children (I'm sensitive to noise and chaos). I enjoy playing chase with other dogs and going on walks with the volunteers. At the shelter, I was pretty shut down when I arrived - this place isn't like living in a home and I was super stressed.

Skylar’s adoption fee would be $30, which includes her spay surgery, vaccines, microchip and registration.

Through it all, I shined and was adopted out but the cat in the home was not a fan and attacked me so I had to be returned. I was then lucky enough to go into foster care. I am having a blast with my foster mom's dog. I am trying to stay hopeful that my savior is just around the corner. I am a sweet, sensitive soul who is eager to find her way back under the covers in bed.

My photos will never show how truly gorgeous I am in person so if you are looking for a calm, attractive girl with a soulful personality, come take me home today! If you have an immediate question, you can give the shelter a call at 850-891-2950 (option 0)
