While basketball brackets and green jackets are an integral part of the spring sports calendar, so is the Boston Marathon. Yesterday was a beautiful day in Beantown, and the annual road-running race did not disappoint for two major brands.

Adidas’ Sisay Lemma secured his second victory in a World Marathon Major with a triumphant performance on the streets of Boston. Leading the field from start to finish, his victory marks the latest success for adidas athletes wearing the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1.

Speaking after the win, Lemma said: “Today was simply incredible – I cannot believe it. I had a clear game plan in my head and executed it to perfection. I knew that if I started fast, I’d have a great chance of winning. This was my first victory at my third attempt in Boston – so it feels so good. I’m so happy.”
