Adidas and Malbon Golf Celebrate Bing Crosby With Capsule Collection

In honor of Bing Crosby, Adidas and Malbon Golf are releasing a limited-edition capsule collection inspired by the late entertainer’s impact on golf.

Most know of Bing Crosby for his award-winning movies and songs, but he also made an impact on the golfing industry with the popular Crosby Clambake, now known as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Since 1937, the annual golfing tournament has brought public figures from all industries together for a friendly competition. To commemorate his legacy in the sport, Adidas and Malbon Golf have created The Crosby Collection inspired by the early days of the event and the fashion that is still seen on the course today.

The limited-edition capsule includes styles for both men and women, including pleated trousers, crewnecks, and polos in tones of white, navy blue and yellow. Some pieces also feature a variety of prints and textures like waffle knit and checkered designs. The entire collection is crafted with golf-friendly technology and materials. Along with the apparel choices, Adidas also created two limited-edition performance sneakers: the Stan Smith Golf and MC87.

The Stan Smith Golf features an all-white silhouette accompanied by the co-branded logo on the tongue and a punctured design along the sides of the upper in the shape of a cursive M for Malbon golf. The low-top sneakers stay true to the iconic set with a lace-up closure and a leather upper.

The MC87 is created with more vibrancy with a navy blue panel at the center of the white leather upper, which is lined with embroidered detailing. The set is completed with an embroidered accent on top of the lace-up closure, a yellow midsole, and a navy blue outsole.

The Crosby Collection will be available for purchase starting on Jan. 29 on both of the brand’s websites and in select stores worldwide.
