Adidas Made a Trio of ‘The Grinch’ Forum Low Sneakers for Christmas

Ahead of this Christmas, Adidas is following up on its official Grinch Forum Low from last year with three times the holiday cheer.

The retro sneaker will release soon with a colorway each for the franchise’s namesake character, Cindy-Lou Who, and Max. While last year’s collaboration saw the Forum Low covered in green suede to match the Grinch’s shag, this new assortment plays his coat in a more reserved fashion.
The Grinch’s Forum Low appears predominately in white and red leather, with green suede peeking out from a select few underlays and the color repeating on the outsole. The character’s animated face makes on a appearance on the the tongue tag and insole, while his heart in “3x” growth forms a metal lace dubrae.
Cindy Lou-Who informs the very-pink Forum Low with an all-suede upper. A series of lace attachments include her face and Christmas decorations, while a The Grinch logo takes over the insole and Adidas’ mark returns to its usual place on the tongue tag.
Rounding out the Forum Low trio is a pair for the Grinch’s dog Max featuring a two-tone brown upper with a bright red sole unit. Another series of lace attachments includes Max, the Grinch, and a pile of presents. Branding matches that of the Cindy Lou-Who pair.
In the unsanctioned but more hyped realm of Grinch-sneakers, Nike will soon release a version of the Kobe 6 Protro nicknamed “Reverse Grinch” that’s a play on one of the most beloved Kobe sneakers of all-time.
A release date hasn’t yet been confirmed for this The Grinch x Adidas Forum Low collection, but there’s a big red target near the end of December when it should release by. We’ll keep you updated when more information arises.
