Adele took a break from her Las Vegas residency to give the Grammys a healthy dose of her music and style. The singer, who will be performing at tonight’s ceremony, may have skipped the red carpet, but she unveiled her stunning red ruffled dress inside. She wore her hair styled down in waves.

The singer is up for seven Grammys: Record of the Year (“Easy on Me”), Album of the Year (30), Song of the Year (“Easy on Me”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Easy on Me”), Best Pop Vocal Album (30), Best Music Video (“Easy on Me”), and Best Music Film (Adele One Night Only).

Adele shut down rumors that she would be skipping the Grammys at her January 27 show in Vegas. She told the audience, “Who said I wasn’t going to the Grammys? Man, whoever started that rumor is a dickhead! ‘Cause I am going to the Grammys. I would never miss the Grammys. I would never be as disrespectful to the Grammys or to other artists. Whoever started that little story needs to go touch some grass.”

Adele spoke to ELLE in our August 2022 cover story about how her four albums—19, 21, 25, and 30—document different ages in her life.

“I like seeing myself in these four different moments of my life,” Adele said. “It’s been really emotional putting the set list and the visuals together, because so much has happened. Fifteen years is a long time. But one thing I feel so lucky with how big my life is now, is that I really lived a normal life. You know?”

“I remember writing 19 very, very much, and going from the studio to meet my friends at the pub,” she continued. “I remember getting on the tube and going to every meeting I had, and I remember going to after-parties of my friends’ little gigs. I remember all of those things, and I remember all of the first times I did something. I remember them even when I’m doing them for the millionth time.”
