Adele Pops Onto Instagram to Share Photos of Her Great, Vacation-Filled Summer
Adele isn't the type to post on Instagram often, but when she does, it's high quality content. Yesterday she returned to the platform to share several photos from her summer this year. How has Adele been spending the months? On yachts, climbing mountains, visiting canyons, swimming, and being 31 with friends. Her photo gallery post already has 1.4 million likes. This is Adele's first big Instagram post since she and her husband Simon Konecki announced their separation in April. Her rep released a statement that said, “Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son [Angelo] together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”
People reported around that time that Adele was focusing on taking care of her son in the aftermath of their breakup. “Adele’s son is everything to her. Her whole life revolves around him,” a source in Adele's social circle told the outlet. “I just can’t see her divorce getting messy because she’s so careful when it comes to her son. She’s always five steps ahead in terms of how a decision will affect him.”
E! was told by a source in April that she and Konecki were happy throughout their marriage, too. "Their marriage was clearly working for a very long time," the outlet's insider said. "Whenever she was out at big openings and special events, he was usually with her, and they looked really just happy together and in love. They were into the marriage pretty much until they decided this just isn't working anymore."
