Adele Lounges in a River of Rosé in Her New "I Drink Wine" Music Video

There's nothing that a glass of rose can't solve — or in Adele's case in her latest music video, an entire river of it.
The superstar released the long awaited video for her latest single "I Drink Wine" on Wednesday, a fan favorite track from her fourth studio album 30. The seven-minute visual features the singer lounging inside of a pool floatie in a gold sequined Valentino gown while she belts heart-wrenching lyrics about growing older and the delusion of adulthood and gets doused in wine by a crew of synchronized swim dancers. Adele also has a high profile cameo from Insecure actor Kendrick Sampson who portrays the singer's love interest in the Joe Talbot-directed visual.
Adele exclusively premiered the music video to a intimate group of some of her biggest fans for a "Happy Hour with Adele" event last night in West Hollywood where she shared a first glimpse at the visual as well as answered fan questions about her life, the album, and the anticipated debut of her "Weekends With Adele" Las Vegas residency at Caesar's Palace starting next month. The residency was originally set to take place at the start of this year, but was delayed according to the singer for COVID-19 pandemic related delays and it just not being creatively up to par for what she wanted for her fans.
"Words can't explain how ecstatic I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows. I truly was heartbroken to have to cancel them," Adele wrote in a statement to fans earlier this year. "But after what feels like an eternity of figuring out logistics for the show that I really want to deliver, and knowing it can happen, I'm more excited than ever!...To be with you in such an intimate space every week has been what I've most been looking forward to and I'm going to give you the absolute best of me."
