The first is a casual black-and-white portrait of the singer, showing off her long blonde locks and wearing a simple black sweater, thick hoop earrings, and no makeup. In the second photo, Adele goes for a swim in a multicolored long-sleeved bathing suit and sleek sunglasses. And the third image captures the performer mid-twirl, wearing a tie-dye off-the-shoulder maxi dress and hoop earrings again—her hair styled in beachy waves.

Adele's last Instagram appearance before this birthday post was a note to fans, reflecting on the 10-year anniversary of her acclaimed album 21.

"Well I never! Happy 10 years old friend! It’s crazy how little I remember of what it was like and how I felt a decade ago," wrote the singer alongside an image of the album cover. "But Thank You from the bottom of my heart for letting us into your lives and letting me be a soundtrack to some of it x."

The singer has kept a relatively low profile over the last year, with her fans anxiously awaiting new music.
