Adele on How Boyfriend Rich Paul Helps Her Get Out of Her Comfort Zone

Adele and Rich Paul are still going strong.
The Grammy-winning singer gave a glimpse into her relationship with the sports agent—including how he helps her overcome her fears of the public spotlight—in a new interview for BBC Sounds's Desert Island Discs.
Adele explained that prior to meeting Paul, she operated by spending years out of the limelight in attempt to control how she's seen. But, the sports agent changed that.
"I think now that the relationship that I’m in, he’s like 'If you want to go to that restaurant, you should go and try the food at that restaurant, and if you want to go to this birthday party, then you should be going. You can’t miss out on these things, what’s the worst that could happen?'" she said, per Entertainment Tonight.
The couple first went public with their romance in July 2021, when they were spotted sitting court side during the NBA Finals.
Since then, the two have gotten more and more serious. Most recently, Paul was spotted in the VIP section of the singer's Hyde Park concert next to her ex-husband, Simon Konecki, with whom she shares her nine-year-old son Angelo.
During the interview, Adele opened up about her and Konecki's coparenting relationship.
"You know, it was never really tricky," she said. "Because we’re such good friends and, over my dead body, is my kid having like a messy divorce in his life. There are no issues and there were no issues, it was easier to make sure that didn’t happen, but I was blessed with him, he’s just the best, and you know, I def approached it all with grace and I think that really paid off."
She also shared that she wouldn't be opposed to expanding her family one day.
"I definitely would like a couple more kids," she said, per People. "It would be wonderful if we can. If not, I've got Angelo. I just want to be happy."
