Adele's Reaction to Beyoncé's Coachella Performance Is Priceless

Adele was literally jumping for joy for Beyoncé.

Beyoncé left the world completely shook on Saturday night (April 14) when she not only made Coachella history as the first black woman to headline the music festival but she gave fans two worth of magic. It was pure, musical magic that we all lapped it up, especially Adele, who couldn't resist showing her devotion to Queen Bey by way of her Instagram account.

Adele posted not one but three lovely Boomerangs on her Instagram that showcased her various moods that she felt while watching the live stream of Beyoncé's Coachella set. It was, in a word, glorious. Not only are the three separate Instagrams titled "Mood 1,""Mood 2" and "Mood 3" — a simple way to capture all the feelings she felt and which many of us felt, no doubt — but Adele is unabashedly being herself all three of them. In the first, she's grooving around with a trumpet. In the other two, she's dancing like nobody is watching. And in all three, she is living for Beyoncé and her life-changing performance by whipping her hair around.

This is certainly not the first time that Adele has made her love of Beyoncé known to the world. At the 2017 Grammys, Adele won the award for Album of the Year for 25 over Beyoncé, whose Lemonade was also nominated, an album that made a huge impact on music and pop culture as a whole in 2016. Adele seemed to recognize this because her acceptance speech was an acknowledgment of Beyoncé's greatness.

"I can’t possibly accept this award, and I’m very humbled, and I’m very grateful and gracious, but the artist of my life is Beyoncé," Adele tearfully stated. "And this album to me, the Lemonade album, was just so monumental, Beyoncé, so monumental, and so well thought out, and so beautiful and soul-bearing, and we all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see. And we appreciate that, and all us artists here fucking adore you. You are our light, and the way that you make me and my friends feel—the way that you make my black friends feel—is empowering, and you make them stand up for themselves. And I love you, I always have, and I always will."

Beyoncé is a true icon and all we can do is dance for joy any time she graces us with her presence, just like Adele did in celebration of her Coachella performance.
