Addison Rae Reveals Her Upcoming Album Is Partly Inspired By Her Relationship with Bryce Hall

If you're a fan of Taylor Swift (or music in general, honestly), you know how much inspiration singers and songwriters take from relationships and breakups. Well, Addison Rae is no different.
While talking to E! News on Wednesday, Addison revealed what inspired her upcoming music. "My album is pretty much just going to be experiences that I've gone through or feelings that I've had and just different mindsets that I've kind of been in over the past year," she said. Addison admitted her relationship with Bryce Hall is a "big part" of that. The TikTok star was exiting her relationship with Bryce while simultaneously working on a new album, so fans have been expecting a lot of her upcoming music to be a reflection of that and it sounds like, we won't be disappointed. "It was a really impactful event in my life," she said, adding that it did provide inspiration for her music. Despite that, Addison insists that her album won't be filled with "breakup sad songs."
"I have a lot of different kinds of songs,"she said. "There's going to be a mix of a ton of things. I think it'll surprise people a lot, definitely." In fact, Addison says her next single is going to be "really surprising for most people."
We already know her first single, "Obsessed" was inspired by Bryce. Following its release, Addison spoke to Zane Lowe at Apple Music about the track and revealed that Bryce did once tell Addison he was obsessed with her, to which she responded, "me too."
So, thank you Bryce for the comment that launched a bop. If "Obsessed" is any indication, it sounds like we will continue to learn more about what actually happened to Braddison as Addison's songs continue to roll out.
