Red River Balloon Rally at Louisiana Downs Casino & Racetrack - From 5 - 10 p.m. come out to 8000 E. Texas St. in Bossier City to see hot air balloons, shop with local vendors and listen to live music. "The Addams Family" presented by Stage Center at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse - As part of the theatre's 12th season, the summer musical "The Addams Family" is a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family. Follow this spooky family as they learn to cope with Wednesday falling in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. Showtime is at 7:30 p.m. and there will be additional shows at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased at the Stage Center website.
Headphone Disco at Bear's - Come out at 9 p.m. for the fourth installment of the Headphone Disco South featuring DJ Static Shock, DJ D Smooth and DJ Charlie Murphie. This is an ages 21 and up event at Bear's located at 1401 Fairfield Ave. in Shreveport.

An Introduction to Acrylic Painting Workshop: Insects at J. Bennett Johnson Waterways Visitor Center - Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park Naturalist Hulya Onel will be teaching acrylic painting at the park. In this nature program, you will use various materials to paint on like rocks, slates, woods and canvases. Materials will be provided, and this event is for ages 16 and up. Call the Nature Park at 318-929-2806 to register. This will be from 10 a.m. - Noon.
Food Truck Pop-Up at the East Bank District - From 5 - 10 p.m. Masshole Lobster Truck will be set up at 515 Barksdale Blvd. in Bossier City for an evening of late-night munchies and a fun atmosphere.
Mane Attraction Car, Truck & Bike Show at the State Fair of Louisiana - Come out to the 2nd annual Car, Truck & Bike Show from 1 - 6 p.m. at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds in Shreveport.
