Adam Glassman and Terri Seymour on the Best-Dressed Celebs at the 2024 SAG Awards

The 2024 SAG Awards premiered live on Netflix over the weekend, bringing Hollywood's most famous television and film stars together at one glittering ceremony. Adam Glassman, Oprah Daily’s creative director and special correspondent at Extra, and Terri Seymour, correspondent at Extra, were on the red carpet, getting a first-person look at their favorite styles of the evening.

Some of the night’s best-dressed celebs included Anne Hathaway, Sterling K. Brown, and Carey Mulligan. Oprah—who has sported several purple ’fits in celebration of The Color Purple—was also there in her signature color. She wore an elegant Gucci dress that was created for her in honor of the special night. “Just when I didn’t think another purple dress could be made, @gucci made this beauty so I could cheer @thecolorpurple cast at the @sagawards," she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you @sabatods 💜”

The night was full of other striking looks, including Sheryl Lee Ralph in a glittering gown and The Color Purple’s Danielle Brooks in a custom Christian Siriano ensemble. Brooks, who was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, was joined by her costars Taraji P. Henson, Halle Bailey, Colman Domingo, Ciara, Phylicia Pearl Mpasi, and Corey Hawkins at the ceremony. The entire cast was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
