This morning, Sandra Oh was among those mourners inside Westminster Abbey for Queen Elizabeth's funeral. The actress, who is known both for playing Christina Yang on Grey's Anatomy, and the titular Eve in Killing Eve, was invited as part of the Canadian delegation for the service. Oh's attendance was confirmed last week, by the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.

"In addition, the Canadian delegation will include members of the Order of Canada Mark Tewksbury, Gregory Charles, and Sandra Oh and Cross of Valour recipient Leslie Arthur Palmer. They will participate in a procession of recipients of national honours as part of the service," reads a statement.

The procession was caught on camera during the BBC's coverage of the event, prompting many to wonder how she had scored a coveted invite. (For context, President Biden was only guaranteed two spots inside Westminster Abbey, one for himself and one for First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.)

Earlier this year, Oh was appointed to the Order of Canada as an Officer, the second highest civillian honor for Canadians, an award which, per the BBC, was given for her “artistic career filled with memorable stage, television and film roles in Canada and abroad.”

Oh was one of only a few celebrities to take part in today's mourning ritual, which was primarily filled with dignitaries, politicians, and close family. Other stars who were expected to attend include Sir David Attenborough and Bear Grylls.
