For Reba actress and founder of The Happy Place JoAnna Garcia Swisher, spring was the perfect time to give her outdoor space a full refresh. With everything blooming and the weather getting warmer, who wouldn't want a place to take it all in? Especially in her flat (very rare) Los Angeles backyard-she just had to take advantage.

Since JoAnna has called HomeGoods her second home for as long as she can remember, partnering with the discount home furnishings store to transform her backyard into a true oasis was a no brainer. The results are not only dreamy, but also incredibly cost-effective.

She got nearly every single item, aside from pieces like the television, pizza oven, movie screen, fire pit, and grill, for a total of $8,000. I repeat: Every. Single. Item. That means furniture sets, bar, bar stools, chairs, loungers, rugs, pillows, planters, plates, cups, silverware, placemats, baskets, and more.

"HomeGoods is a constant source of inspiration for me," JoAnna shared. "Which is why the aisles are my go-to place when I need a creative boost. One find can inspire the theme of my next party, a reason to celebrate or re-decorate."

Tip: Find one item at HomeGoods that inspires your creativity and run with it!

Because JoAnna and her family are constantly entertaining, everything also had to be durable. Cue everything from unbreakable melamine wine glasses for $3 each to a gorgeous outdoor furniture set, including a love seat, chairs, and coffee table, for $1,300 (above).

Though $8K might sound like a lot, she used it to do SO much: JoAnna was able to create an outdoor movie theater and fire pit area, a seating and entertaining section around her pizza oven, a picnic spot, a pool-side bar and lounge section, and a space to gather under a pergola.

"It doesn’t take a lot of money or effort to create amazing moments with family and friends!" she said. So, next time you're searching through HomeGoods-whether you have $8,000 or $80-allow your imagination to run wild.

Peek around at the rest of the yard and try not to be inspired to re-do your outdoor space before summer hits. It's nearly impossible, trust me:
