Actor Luke Evans Showed Off His Ripped Abs in a Shirtless Post-Workout Photo

Gaston would never be one to let his gains go to waste, and the same can definitely be said for the actor best known for playing him in real life. On Thursday, Beauty and the Beast actor Luke Evans gave everyone another reminder that he’s been crushing his at-home workouts as we finally approach the end of lockdown.
The 41-year-old Welsh star shared a sweaty, shirtless post-workout selfie on Instagram, showing off his abs while leaning against a medicine ball and stretching a resistance band across his neck. "Home gym training is so great," he wrote in the caption, adding a series of thumbs down and angry-face emojis to drive home the sarcasm.
Evans hasn’t exactly been shy about serving up thirst traps on social media lately, from riding a scooter shirtless with Brazilian model Gustavo Naspolini to hitting the beach in a speedo with some of his buff friends. (In another speedo moment, Evans also showed off his new thigh tattoo of a bird in mid-flight.) It's easy to see why Cosmo once deemed Evans the "most underrated celebrity on Instagram."
Evans is set to reprise his role as the famously buff Gaston in the Disney Plus show The Little Town, a prequel to the 2017 live action remake of Beauty and the Beast that will begin production soon. In a recent interview with Collider, Evans played it coy regarding the exact date shooting will begin.
“I do [know], but I’m sworn to secrecy,” he said. “We are not allowed to talk about it, but it’s progressing very well.” Evans also has a number of other projects in the works, including the mini-series Nine Perfect Strangers and the live-action reboot of Pinocchio in which he'll play The Coachman.
