He totally nailed it!

Actor Jared Leto attended this year's Met Gala dressed as the late Karl Lagerfeld's cat Choupette, and his couture choice is absolutely the cat's meow. The theme for this year's event was "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" and what could be more beautiful than Lagerfeld's beloved blue-eyed Burmese cat?

As expected, TikTok users are having an absolute meltdown over this catty couture. @Ralphael is taking credit for this one, and comments, "Omg, I was manifesting that someone would come dressed as Choupette. This is fantastic." Another viewer adds, "Okay but he SLAYED that, you can’t deny it." @Carly replies, "That is the most realistic cat costume I have ever seen. Wow!" We love his little shoulder shimmy too! Huge fan @Hinata says, "If I was there I would be hugging the cat's costume and never let go."

This year's guests were told to dress "in honor of Karl" and Leto absolutely nailed it, because it's common knowledge that Lagerfeld loved nothing as much as his beloved cat, who is rumored to be worth about $300 million dollars. According to The NY Post, in 2014, Choupette secured her own makeup line by Shu Uemura, and the cash cat went on to rake in over $2 million doing a campaign for a German car. Choupette also has a charity organization called the Choupette Fund, which aids stray cats.

Even though we are only about halfway to Halloween, we are predicting this is gonna be on every trick or treaters costume wishlist this year. Or, you know, just to wear to your local grocery store like no big.
