I’m sure by now you have encountered at least one person who won’t stop trying to convince you to read the A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) series by Sarah J. Maas (it’s me, hi. I’m the problem, it’s me). Sure, you could start by purchasing the first book (which is also 50% off), but if we’re being honest, there’s no way you aren’t going to cruise through the entire series so you might as well buy the full five-book box set and save yourself some money.
OK, now that we’ve gotten ACOTAR out of the way, we can get into the best series (in my opinion): Throne of Glass. Throne of Glass was Maas’ first series and it’s currently her only completed series. It leans a bit more into fantasy than ACOTAR (which is more romance-heavy) but is still easy enough for non-fantasy readers to enjoy.

Crescent City is a modern fantasy that leans heavily into fantasy and romance. This box set contains the three Crescent City books that are currently published.
The third and most recent book in the series, House of Flame and Shadow, was released in January 2024, but Maas confirmed that a fourth Crescent City book is in the works during an interview with TODAY.
